The prevention of crime and disorder
A high-definition CCTV system is already installed and maintained, covering the entrance, till area, and alcohol displays. Recordings will be retained for at
least 28 days and made available to police or licensing officers on request.
The Challenge 25 policy will be strictly enforced, with refusal logs maintained and reviewed.
Alcohol will be stored in clear view of the counter and staff to discourage theft or tampering.
Staff will be trained to identify and handle potential conflict situations and report incidents to the police where appropriate.
The premises licence holder will liaise with Warrington police to share relevant information and report any patterns of anti-social behaviour
Public safety
Staff will be trained in basic health and safety, including fire safety and safe evacuation procedures.
Clear and well-lit emergency exits will be maintained at all times.
Shelving and displays will be secured to prevent accidents or hazards to customers.
The premises will be kept clean and clutter-free to ensure safe movement for customers and staff.

The licence holder will respond promptly to any complaints from residents or local authorities.
The protection of children from harm
A robust Challenge 25 policy will be implemented, requiring valid photographic ID for all alcohol sales.
Alcohol will not be displayed near children’s products (e.g., sweets, toys, soft drinks.
Staff will receive training on identifying fake IDs and handling underage purchase attempts.
No advertising or promotional material for alcohol will be targeted at children or displayed at child height.
A refusals log will be kept and monitored to ensure compliance and identify anytraining needs.
