ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
CCTV
Digital CCTV shall be installed and shall be maintained on a 24 hour basis. Data shall be retained for a period of 31 days and shall be made available to the Police for evidential purposes.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
Noise
Procedures shall be established to prevent noise nuisance from deliveries and all plant and machinery.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
Challenge 25
An age challenge scheme with an age challenge of not less than 25 years is in force for persons who appear ro be less than 25.
The only forms of ID that shall be accepted (at the discretion of the management) as proof of age are a valid passport, UK photographic driving licence, a PASS approved proof of age card or HM Services Warrant Card. Publicity materials notifying customers of the operation of the ‘Challenge 25’ scheme shall be displayed at the premises.
Register of Refusals
The Designated Premises Supervisor or Premises Licence Holder shall operate and maintain an up-to-date Register of Refusals of Sale of Alcohol, indicating the date, time and reason for refusal which shall be made available for inspection by Trading Standards, Licensing Authority Officers and Police. Alternatively an electronic point of sale refusals log shall be kept.
Training
The DPS or Premises Licence Holder shall conduct six monthly refresher training reviews with all members of staff authorises to sell alcohol in order to reinforce the training and to promote best practice. A written record shall be kept of the content of such reviews.
