• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1.  No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

  ()       at a time when here is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  ()       at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  2.  (a) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

   

  (b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

   

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER

   

  CCTV

  A CCTV system shall be installed and operated at the premises.  The images recorded by the system shall be retained in an unedited format for a period of not less than 31 days and made available to an officer of a responsible authority unpon request.

   

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FRM HARM

   

  Challenge 25

  The Challenge 25 Policy shall be adpoted and all staff trained in its implementation.

  Only passports, photo card driving licences, H M Forces warrant cards and those featuring the PASS logo will be accepted (at the discretion of the Management) as valid forms of identification.

   

  Signs will be located at the point of sale and on the shelves where alcohol is kept advising customers that the Challenge 25 Policy is in force.

   

  Training

  Staff will be trained in the law regarding under age sales and that training will be repeated at regular intervals.

   

  Refusals Log

  A refusals log shall be kept at the premises and made available for inspection to an officer of a responsible authority upon request.

   

  Till Prompt

  Each till will incorporate a promt system in relation to age restricted items.
