ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING CENTRE
Prevention of crime and disorder
CCTV
Digital CCTV hall be installed and shall be to the standards of Cheshire Police CCTV Policy.
Images to be retained for a minimum of 31 days and given to Police upon request.
REFUSALS REGISTER
Records of all customer refusals shall be maintained in hard backed registers and all information to be retained for a period of one year.
SHUTTERS
Roller shutters shall be fitted to the premises.
Protection of children from harm
'Challenge 25'
A 'challenge 25' policy shall be operated at the premises at all times. The only acceptable forms of ID shall be a valid passport, photographic driving licence, H.M. Forces ID card, or a Pass approved proof of age card. No other form of identification shall be accepted. Publicity materials notifying customers of the operation of the 'Challenge 25' scheme shall be displayed at the premises.
Register of refusals
The Premises Licence Holder or DPS shall operate and maintain an up-to-date Register of Refusals of the Sale of Alcohol (electronic or written), indicating the product, date, time and reason for the refusal which shall be made available for inspection by Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police.
Training
A documented training scheme shall be introduced for all staff in a position to sell alcohol. The contents of that scheme shall be made available for inspection at the request of Trading Standards, Local Authority Officers and Police.
The Premise Licence Holder or DPS shall conduct reviews with each person authorised to sell alcohol in order to reinforce the training and to promote best practice. A written record shall be made of the content of such reviews.
