ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
The storage unit is monitored 24 hours per day and secured by CCTV.
All deliveries are made by way of a pre-order and pre-payment telephone or electonic system.
Acces to the Unit is restricted to employees of Late Orders.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
An age verification policy shall be operated at the point of delivery at all times.
All delivery staff shall check identification of persons who appear to be less than 21 years old. This check shall be made by examining a valid passport, photographic driving licence, HM Forces ID card or a PASS approved proof of age card only. The delivery driver shall be in possession of this policy at all times.
The Premise Licence holder/DPS shall operate and maintain an up to date register of refusals which shall be made available for inspection by Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police.
A documented training scheme shall be introduced for all staff in a position to deliver alcohol. The contents of that scheme shall be made available for inspection at the request of Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police. The Premises Licence holder/DPS shall maintain a record at the premises for each person authorised to deliver alcohol. The file shall contain all training records for that person. The Premises Licence holder/DPS shall conduct quarterly reviews with each person authorised to deliver alcohol in order to reinforce the training and to promote best practice. A written record shall be made of the content of such reviews.
