ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
The Premises will not be open to the public at any time for the sale of alcohol.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
All deliveries shall only be left with or delivered to a person over the age of 18 years.
A “Challenge 25” policy shall be operated at the point of delivery at all times. All delivery staff shall check identification of persons who appear to be less than 25 years old. This check shall be made by examining a valid passport, photographic driving licence, HM Forces ID card or a PASS approved proof of age card. No other form of identification shall be accepted. Delivery drivers shall be in possession of a copy of this policy when making deliveries.
The Premises Licence Holder / DPS shall operate and maintain an up-to-date Register of Refusals of Sale (Delivery) of Alcohol (electronic or written), indicating the date, time and reason for refusal which shall be made available for inspection by Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police.
A documented training scheme shall be introduced for all staff in a position to deliver alcohol. The contents of that scheme shall be made available for inspection at the request of Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police. The Premises licence holder / DPS shall maintain a record at the premises for each person authorised to deliver alcohol. The file shall contain all training records for that person.
The premises licence holder / DPS shall conduct quarterly reviews with each person authorised to deliver alcohol in order to reinforce the training and to promote best practice. A written record shall be made of the content of such reviews.
The premises shall not be open to children.
