ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Code of Conduct
The Premises Licence holder shall adhere to JD Wetherspoon's "Code of Conduct for Responsible Retailing" as amended from time to time, the January 2009 version of which accompanied the application.
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
Door Supervisors
The Premises Licence holder will risk assess the need for Door Supervisors at the premises and/or employ such Door Supervisors at such time and in such numbers as deemed necessary by the risk assessment and/or at any other times upon agreement with the Police.
Door Supervisors on duty inside and outside the premises are to wear a reflective waistcoat or jacket in yellow or orange which bears the legend "Door Supervisor" on the front and rear.
A register (paper or electronic) shall be maintained at the premises recording the name, address, date of birth, SIA number, start/finish time (including any times when not on duty) and contact number of the individual Door Supervisor along with the contact details of their employer.
Staffing Levels
The Premises Licence holder will ensure that there are sufficient staffing levels including managers to encourage responsible behaviour on the premises at all times.
Non-Alcoholic Drinks
Non-alcoholic beverages including soft drinks, water, coffee and tea shall be available at all times, sale by retail of alcohol carried out at the premises.
Pubwatch
The Premises Licence holder shall take reasonable steps to ensure that the DPS or a nominated member of staff shall be a member of the Pubwatch or a similar scheme where such a scheme is available. The DPS shall be encouraged to attend regular meetings of such a scheme.
CCTV
CCTV shall be installed in the premises in compliance with any reasonable requirements of the Police. Images will be retained for a minimum of 21 days and will be made available to the Police upon request. Members of the management team will be trained in the use of the system.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
Challenge 21
The Premises Licence holder will operate a "Challenge 21" at all times.
The only form of ID that will be accepted as proof of age are a valid passport, photographic driving licence, PASS approved proof of age card, Home Office issued national identity card, Military identification or other card approved by Warrington Borough Council Trading Standards. Publicity materials notifying customers of the operation of the "Challenge 21" policy scheme shall be displayed at the premises.
Refusals Log
An electronic point of sale or paper refusals log indicating the date, time and reason for the refusal shall be kept by the Designated Premises Supervisor. This log shall be made available for inspection by the Trading Standards Department and Police upon request.
Staff Training
The Premises Licence holder will ensure that all staff at the premises have been trained in a accordance with established JD Wetherspoon Plc training procedures. Specifically, the Premises Licence holder will ensure that all employees are trained in their responsibilities to prevent alcohol being served to anybody who is under the legal age limit or to anyone who appears to be drunk or anyone who is trying to purchase alcohol on their behalf.
Children
Suitable food and non-alcoholic beverages shall be available at all times children are allowed on the premises.
