  Stewards

  Stewards shall wear high visibility clothing clearly identifying their role.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY

   

  Hazards

  Nominated stewards shall patrol all areas throughout the afternoon and identify any potential hazards that could cause an impending incident.  Any remedial actions must be reported to Carnival Control who will organise correction.

   

  Fairground

  Stewards are to ensure that the ride providers ensure rides are properly fenced to avoid accidents to the public from moving machinery.

   

  Use of Electricity

  Adequate precautions shall be made in the use of electricity on site.  Any equipment must be protected by an RCD and any cables must be securely located to avoid trip, electrocution or other hazard.  Any cable rusn must be clearly stated.
