Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating Schedule
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Pubwatch
The premises licence holder or their representative shall be an active member of the local pubwatch scheme.
Door supervisors
Any persons exercising a security activity (as defined by paragraph 2 (1) (a) of schedule 2 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001) shall be licensed by the Security Industry Association
Such a person will be employed at the premises at the discretion of the designated premises supervisor/holder of the Premises Licence
Any person as defined in condition (1) will clearly display his name badge at all times whilst on duty.
Open containers
No customer apparently carrying open bottles upon entry shall be admitted to the premises at any times the premises are open to the public
CCTV
Where CCTV is installed with recording facilities such recording shall be retained for a period of 30 days and made available within a reasonable time upon request by the police.
Alcoholic and other drinks may not be removed from the premises in open containers save for consumption in any external area provided for that purpose
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Noise
Where appropriate, prominent, clear and legible notice shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
Noise and vibration shall not emanate from the premises so as to cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
No nuisance shall be caused by noise or vibration coming from or transmitted through the structure of the buildings. This includes any external plant or equipment attached to the premises or within the curtilage of the premises.
No external speakers shall be used outside the building, this will include any beer gardens or outside drinking area or car park
The use of any outside drinking/seating area will cease at 23.00 Monday to Saturday and at 22.30 Sunday.
All windows and doors to be kept closed when any amplified music or voices are being played within the premises.
The Premises Licence Holder or their representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause disturbance to local residents. A written record of those assessments and the remedial action taken shall be kept and will include the date, time of the checks and the name of the person carrying out the checks. Details of the remedial action will also be recorded.
There shall be placed at all exits of the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public [or members and their guests] notices requiring customers to leave the premises quickly and quietly. This condition also extends to car parks where car radios and members of the public may cause disturbance to local residents.
Refuse bottles shall not be removed from the building for disposal between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Proof of Age Schemes - Challenge 21
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy that employees challenge all persons purchasing alcohol who appear to be under 21 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years to produce a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
Films
No films or videos of any description will be shown so that they can be viewed by persons under the age of any applicable BBFC/Local Authority Certification
Children on the Premises
Children under the age of 16 shall not be permitted to enter the premises after 21.00
