ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER
CCTV
There shall be an operating whilst the shop is open CCTV System to comply with the operational requirements document for Cheshire Constabulary (attached).
CCTV footage shall be provided on request for the purpose of crime prevention and detection. Sufficient staff shall be trained for that purpose.
Spirits
All spirits shall be by counter service only.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
'Challenge 21'
A 'challenge 21' policy shall be operated at the premises at all times.
The only acceptable forms of ID shall be a valid passport, photographic driving licence, H.M. Forces card, or a PASS approved proof of age card. No other form of identification shall be accepted. Publicity materials notifying customers of the operation of the 'Challenge 21' scheme shall be displayed at the premises.
Register of refusals
The premises Licence Holder or DPS shall operate and maintain an up-to-date Register of Refusals of Sale of Alcohol (electronic or written), indicating the date, time and reason for the refusal which shall be made available for inspection by Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police.
Training
A documented training scheme shall be introduced for all staff in a position to sell alcohol. The contents of that Scheme shall be made available for inspection at the request of Trading Standards, Local Authority Licensing Officers and Police.
The Premises Licence Holder or DPS shall conduct quarterly reviews with each person authorised to sell alcohol in order to reinforce the training and to promote bet practice. A written record shall be made of the content of such reviews.
