THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
CCTV
Digital CCTV shall be installed and shall be maintained on a 24 hour basis. Data shall be retained for a period of 31 days and shall be made available to the Police for evidential purposes.
Sales of alcohol for consumption on the premises are confined to the cafe. The cafe is only made available to customers when the store is open for trading and no sale of alcohol is made from the cafe after 23.00 on Mondays to Saturdays and after 22.30 on Sundays.
Alcohol shall only be sold in a sealed bottle or other vessel for consumption off the premises. For the avoidance of doubt, free tastings of alcohol may take place within the licensed premises.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
Staff training to ensure that in case of any doubt whether a purchaser is over the age of 18, to refuse sale of alcohol unless valid identification is produced.
Till prompts remind staff at point of sale of alcohol to ensure the purchaser is over 18.
All displays of alcohol are appropriately ticketed to advise purchasers that it is an offence for those under 18 to purchase alcohol.
Till points are monitored by the digital CCTV system.
Proof of age scheme "Challenge 25" shall be operated for all sales of alcohol.
