Noise
All doors and windows shall be closed when live music is being played.
PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
Challenge 21
A 'challenge 21' policy shall be operated at the premises at all times. All staff shall check identification of all persons who appear to be less than 21 years old. This check shall be made by examining either a passport, photographic driving licence or a PASS approved proof of age card. No other form of identification shall be accepted. Publicity materials notifying customers of the operation of the 'challenge 21' scheme shall be displayed at the premises.
Register of Refusals
The DPS shall operate and maintain an up-to-date Register of Refusals of sale of alcohol, indicating the date, time, and reason for refusal which shall be made available for inspection by Trading Standards Department and Police.
Training
A documented training scheme shall be introduced for all staff. The scheme shall be made available for inspection at the request of the Licensing Authority, Trading Standards Department and Police.
The DPS shall maintain a file (that shall be available for inspection by the Police officers or Officers authorised by Warrington Borough Council) at the premises for each person authorised to sell alcohol. The file shall contain all training records for that person.
The premises licence holder or DPS shall conduct quarterly reviews with all members of staff and anyone else authorised to sell alcohol in order to reinforce the training and to promote best practice. A written record shall be made of the content of such reviews.
