ANNEX 2 - CONDITION CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
Door Security
Where any door supervisors are used at the premises they shall be registered with the Security Industry Authority.
Drugs Policy
The Premises Licence holder shall put in place a drugs policy for the premises. The Premises Licence holder or other nominated person shall then ensure that this drugs policy is complied with at all times when the premises are open to the public.
Disc Jockey
Where a disc jockey is used at the premises, then he/she shall ask customers to leave the premises quietly.
CCTV
Where CCTV equipment is fitted, it shall be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and shall be operational at all times when a licensable activity takes place on the premises.
Incidents of Crime and Disorder
All instances of crime and disorder shall be reported to the police and details shall be kept in an incident log book.
Pubwatch
The Designated Premises supervisor or their representative shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pub and Club Watch Scheme for the area within which the premises is situated.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Drinking Water
Free drinking water shall be available at all times when the premises is open to the public.
PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
Staff patrols
When entertainment is being offered on the premises, members of staff shall undertake additional patrols of the premises, both internally and externally, to limit any noise pollution.
Drivers shelf - soft drinks
Suitable non-alcoholic beverages including drinking water shall be equally available for consumption on the premises with or without food.
Noise
No external speakers shall be used outside the building, this will include any beer gardens or outside drinking area or car park, after the hours of 23.00 Monday to Saturday and after the hour of 22.30 Sunday.
The use of any outside drinking/seating area will cease at 23.00 Monday to Saturday and at 22.30 Sunday.
All doors to be kept closed after the hour of 23.00 Monday to Saturday and after the hour of 22.30 Sunday.
The Premises Licence Holder or their representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause disturbance to local residents. A written record of those assessments and the remedial action taken shall be kept and will include the date, time of the checks and the name of the person carrying out the checks. Details of the remedial action will also be recorded.
There shall be placed at all exits of the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public [or members and their guests] notices requiring customers to leave the premises quickly and quietly. This condition also extends to car parks where car radios and members of the public may cause disturbance to local residents.
Refuse bottles shall not be removed from the building for disposal between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
Proof of Age Schemes - Challenge 21
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy that employees challenge all persons purchasing alcohol who appear to be under 21 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years to produce a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
Children
Children shall be required to be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
Entertainment
When children are allowed on the premises, any entertainment offered on the premises shall be suitable for young persons.
