ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
Door Supervisors
Where any Door Supervisors are used at the premises they shall be registered with the Security Industry Authority.
Drugs Policy
The Premises Licence holder shall put in place a drugs policy for the premises. The Premises Licence holder or other nominated person shall then ensure that this drugs policy is complied with at all times when the premises are open to the public.
Incidents of Crime
All instances of crime and disorder will be reported to the police an dwill be kept in an incident log book.
Pubwatch
The premises licence holder or their representative shall be an active member of the local pubwatch scheme.
THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE
Noise
The use of any outside drinking/seating area will cease at 23:00 Monday to Saturday and at 22:30 on Sunday.
There shall be placed at all exits of the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public [or members and their guests] notices requiring customers to leave the premises quickly and quietly. This condition also extends to car parks where car radios and members of the public may cause disturbance to local residents.
Refuse, including bottles, shall not be removed from the building for disposal between the hours of 23.00 and 07.00.
If a Disc Jockey is used on any night then he/she will ask customers to leave quietly.
Responsible Drinking
The Premises Licence Holder shall adopt a responsible approach to drinking and shall not offer to customers irresponsible sales promotions or discounted prices of alcoholic beverages.
Toughened Glasses
With the exception only of drinks which are available solely in glass bottles, no drink shall be sold from a bar or by staff service which are to be consumed in or on the premises other than in a container made form non-splintering plastic, paper or shatterproof glass.
Drivers Shelf - Soft Drinks
Suitable non-alcoholic beverages including drinking water, shall be equally available for consumption on the premises with or without food.
Free drinking water shall be available at all times.
THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
Proof of Age Schemes - Challenge 21
There shall be in place for the premises a written policy that employees challenge all persons purchasing alcohol who appear to be under 21 years of age. That policy shall require any person who appears to be under the age of 21 years to produce a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
Supervision
Children shall be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the premises.
Children on the Premises
When children are allowed on the premises, any entertainment offered within the premises will be suitable for young persons.
