ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
THE PREVENTION OF CRIME & DISORDER
Entry Time
There shall be a last entry time of 1 hour before the terminal hour.
Occupancy
A reduction in overall capacity by 25%, reducing the capacity to 250 shall be implemented.
Dress Code
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that a policy is in place that all persons entering the premises comply with the premises smart casual dress code.
Log Books
The Premises Licence holder shall keep refusal logs for the door entry and bars.
The Premises Licence holder shall keep a logbook recording all incidents which happen on and around the premises.
Door Supervisors
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure before the premises are open to the public for licensable activities, all door supervisors will be checked with the SIA to ensure they are registered.
At all times when the premises are open for licensable activities a female door supervisor must be present.
Drink Promotions
There shall be a policy within the premises of "No drinks promotions of any kind".
Checks
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that a senior member of staff or the DPS check toilets, entrances, exits and surrounding inside or outside areas; to be checked every 15 minutes.
A hard back book recording these checks of toilets, entrances, exits and surrounding areas to be retained.
CCTV
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that the CCTV system within the premises at all times meets Cheshire Police standards. The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that the system is inspected by a Cheshire Constabulary expert.
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that at all times CCTV footage is made available to Cheshire Constabulary upon request.
Drugs & Weapons Policy
The Premises Licence holder shall put in place a drugs and weapons written search policy to be implemented on the premises and this shall include all briefing and training of staff. This briefing and training to include all door staff.
Drugs
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that a drugs amnesty bin is located in the area of the main entrance.
Website
The Premises Licence holder shall monitor the premises websites and remove immediately any messages relating to drugs or violence.
Non-return Policy
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that the premises have a policy in place which shall not allow any person to return to the premises once they have exited the main entrance.
Non-Shattering Glasses
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that only non-shattering type glasses - to be approved by the Licensing Authority - are used on the premises.
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that all bottled drinks are decanted at the bar into non-shattering type glasses.
Pubwatch
the Premises Licence holder shall attend all Pubwatch meetings either in person or by deputy and have and use the Town Centre radio link.
Meetings
The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that regular meetings are held with Cheshire Constabulary.
THE PREVENTION OF HARM TO CHILDREN
Challenge 25 policy
Persons who appear to be under the age of 25 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of a recognised proof of age card accredited under the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) or if a proof of age card is not available, a photo driving licence, passport or accredited student card.
